"This "original" knife has been handled over and over again by the members of my family and have been passed from generation to generation. It fulfilled the tasks we asked it so much that we forgot to really look at it! Until we lose it (luckily just for a while!) and realize how much it was lacking!
As soon as we found it back, my husband and I wanted to duplicate it. In memory and as a tribute to my grandparents but also to share its effectiveness with all who will get one.
We just updated it with modern and efficient materials : Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, charged with carbon, for the blade and Mozambic ebony, an ultra-resistant wood, for the handle.
The shape remained the one chosen by my grandmother and the manufacturing follows all the steps done by my grandfather.
I tell myself that with our P'tit Tradi, other families will be able to transmit their knife and the pleasure of cooking together! "
